Does one of your buddy’s have a birthday that’s coming up soon? Maybe they just got a promotion at work, or they got engaged. You want to do something to let them know you are happy for them and thinking about them. However, you don’t know what to get for them. Flowers aren’t going to cut it. You need to find some type of gift that works well for him and doesn’t come across as out of place or odd. What should you get? Well, first, know that all guys are different. The best way to determine what gift is going to work for your friend is to know your friend. This way, you’ll have a good idea of what he’s probably going to like. 2. Video games. Older and older people are into video games today, so even if you and your friends are in your 30s or 40s, some gaming gear and games might still be a good gift. These are likely items that their spouse or significant other won’t be getting for them, unless they are into games as well. You might want to pick up the latest multiplayer shooter that you can play together, or a racing game. Maybe they need a new controller, or a new headset.


3. Cool Electronics. There are plenty of other types of interesting electronic devices and gadgets that you might want to consider as well. Think about some of the things that your friend likes and then try to find a related gadget. Today, it seems as though there’s a gadget for everything.


4. A Knife. Everyone should have a pocket knife. They are fantastic tools, and they happen to make a fantastic gift. You could also get engraving on the knife if you choose, but that might be a little much. Instead, you could spend the extra that you save on engraving and buy a better quality blade.


5. Favorite Booze. If your friend likes to drink once in a while, a bottle of high quality booze might be a good option. If he’s into scotch, you can never, and we mean never go wrong with a nice bottle of Glenlivet.


6. Tickets. If your friend has a favorite sports team then consider purchasing tickets to a game.  Shopping has never been easier with the many online ticket sites.  And if you play it right you may find yourself cheering along with him.
