What are your thoughts on keeping secrets from each other?

My wife knows what's happening in my life.

What she doesn’t know, she doesn’t need to know.

There are some things that are best left unsaid.

The only secret I keep from my wife is what I got her for her birthday present.

How do you two handle being away from each other for extended periods of time?

We'll catch-up on things when I get back home.

We Facetime and text throughout the day.

We’ll text here and there.

We call each other when we can.

What are your thoughts on compromise?

I always just let her have what she wants.

Who needs compromise when you always agree on everything.

It’s my way or the highway.

Meeting in the middle is the best way to keep everyone happy.

How do you handle your wife after she’s had a rough day?

She’s never expressed having a tough day to me.

I try to understand what's happening and if needed, help her.

Tell her how she could have handled the situation differently.

Nod, smile, and grunt periodically while she vents.

So you’re unhappy with your wife’s shopping habit. What are you going to do?

Allow it to keep happening.

Have an honest and direct conversation.

Cut-up her credit cards and close the account.

Gently remind her about our budget.

After a long day at work, what are the both of you doing?

Talking, relaxing and spending time together.

I hang out with friends and watch the game.

I’m downstairs playing video games, she’s upstairs reading.

Relaxing on the couch together with the TV on.

That’s a mighty fine looking’ truck for sale… What are you going to do?

Dream about it.

Got to call my wife before I sign any kind of car loan.

Take a couple of days to think about it and mull it over with the lady.

Pull money from the savings account and buy that bad boy!

When do you apologize?

I am quick to admit my mistakes and own-up to my responsibility.

I never apologize. It is a sign of weakness.

I apologize for everything and anything. An apology is free.

I'll apologize if it will end a fight and get her off my back.

When was the last time you told your wife what you appreciate about her?

Within the last few days.

She knows I appreciate her. So maybe once a week.

Just this morning.

The day we exchanged vows.

If you’ve had a rough week, what does your wife do?

Nothing. If anything she tells me to get over it.

Asks me wif there is anything she can to make me feel better.

Makes me dinner, and rubs my back while I vent.

Becomes somewhat invisible and stays away until my mood clears.

Do you love birds still hold hands or have public displays of affection?

It's just not our thing.

No and she is always pointing out how cute other couples are as they walk hand-in-hand.

Hand holing. We leave the other stuff out of public view.

There are cat-calls telling us "get a room".

How would you rate your sex life with your wife?

Great when it happens.

We would both give it a thumbs-up.

Ha-ha. What’s a sex life?

If I said average that may be reaching.

Do you know your wife’s ultimate life goal?

We talk about our dreams but that's all they seem to be, just dreams.

Our goal is to make it through the day.

No. I thought she accomplished it when she married me.

Yes and we have created a plan to reach it.

You guys will withstand the test of time, without a doubt.

You two talk through problems, compromise like professionals, and support each other relentlessly. Every relationship has its faults, but you guys hav this whole marriage thing under control. Whatever you’ve been doing thus far-- keep doing it, because you’re doing it right.

…and that’s okay. Both of you make a conscious effort to try and make your marriage work, and that’s more than what some couples are willing to do. Though you guys spend your leisurely time apart from one another, and you aren’t 100% sure what her life goals, you two are willing to talk about your problems, and share your intimate secrets with one another. Remember that communication is key in any relationship, and you two will continue to grow stronger.
